My name is Jim Ryan, and I play the drums.
A best selling author with Mel Bay Publications and Hal Leonard Corporation, Jim has published five drum instruction books and more than 30 snare drum solos all available worldwide. Over the last 30 years, Jim has toured and recorded with numerous bands throughout the United States. Jim was voted the best drummer in St. Louis for 4 consecutive years in Spotlight Magazine's reader poll. Jim is the featured drummer on on 3 CD's with Morgantown and Buffalo Bob and The Bedroom Blues Band which were also voted "Best Blues Band" and "Best Original Band" in St. Louis. Jim currently teaches, records, and plays drums for Whiskey Anthem (www.whiskeyanthem.com).
